Marinara All'Amatriciana

 
  • 1 Jar Gia Russa Marinara Pasta Sauce1 lb Bucatini Dry Pasta of your choice
    ½ lb - Diced pancetta Or Thick Cut Bacon
    2 Large – Cloves Garlic (Chopped or Smashed)
    ½ Red Onion (Sliced Thin)
    Romano Cheese (Shaved or Grated)
    Parsley (Chopped)
    1 Tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
    Red Pepper Flake (Optional)

  • Cook pasta per box instructions.

    While pasta is cooking add EVOO to large sauté pan and
    bring to medium heat.

    Add diced pancetta or bacon and cook until crisp.

    Remove bacon from pan and place on paper towel for use later.

    Add onions and garlic to sauté pan, cook for 5 minutes. Then, combine Gia Russa Marinara sauce to pan and stir.

    Remove pasta from water once fully cooked and add to sauté pan.

    Add meat back into skillet and toss to combine.

    Serve pasta with Romano Cheese and chopped parsley as needed along with some crushed red pepper flakes if desired.
